Since
1987, the Arts & Business Council of Sacramento
has promoted mutually beneficial partnerships
between businesses and arts groups. Through its programs
the Council brings expertise, resources and leadership
talent from the business world to the arts community.
Businesses benefit through meaningful volunteer
opportunities for employees, improved access to arts
resources
and the opportunity to be a part of a community
enhanced by the presence of a vibrant arts sector.
For 22 years our flagship program, Business Volunteers for the Arts, has worked to strengthen the planning and management of arts organizations, helping them contribute to our communities’ education, workforce, and economic development efforts. $15,000 in pro-bono services were provided in 2008.
